Appreciation

Holiday has started, yet I’m still away from home. If one used to be away from family for a long time, she/he would have experienced the lonely feeling whether little or much. Being away best measures my love toward my mum, dad, brother, and grandma back home. It also brought up the misses towards friends, my beloved Cambodia, and the people. This brought me the realisation that by the nature one would (most of the time) appreciate something more when he/she doesn’t have it.

I can still rememeber that at one point in time, I wished i am here in Singapore to pursue my higher education without having to worry about anything at all (be it financial constraints or any other matters). At that point in time, studying abroad at a very good university was just so big a dream to me.  

Looking back on this, I feel so blessed to be here. At the end of the day, one of the keys to happiness  is to appreciate the situation we are in, things and people around us.

Decision

I have reached a point where decision need to be made. I have to choose two among the three that i like the most: Quantitative Finance, Finance, and Economics. Hmm, I’m not sure of what to choose. I guess i’ll delay making decision so as not to regret later on. What i can do now is to try taking some courses in QF first.
